This place is the real deal! True Mexican food and genuine flavor. The coffee is instant coffee with cinnamon flavored water. It's a small place so be ready to wait because it's typically packed. Highly recommended!

Excelente servicio y la comida deliciosa igual que en villa ahumada. Lo mejor que hay en Paso en burritos y quesadillas

Ambiance: good typical small Mexican restaurant. It's not tiny, good for parties of 8 or 12 even as they have a room. Service: we had really good service and there was 8 in our party. Food: was pretty good. I ordered the Mexican plate. Has everything. I ordered this so I can taste the most out of the place. Comes with 1 taco, one chile relleno, 1 enchilada, 2 flautas, rice and beans and "salad." I wouldn't recommend the chills relleno. Was good in flavor but was too crunchy for me and the smallest amount of cheese ever. I tried the agua de melón and that was really good.

As a native El Pasoan, I feel that authentic Mexican restaurants are hard to come by even in El Paso. Long have searched for a great breakfast spot and we are glad we decided to take a chance! This place is great, but be prepared to wait a bit as the place is small. But judging the line outside, you know you are in the right place. I had the machaca plate and my husband had the huevos rancheros. We will definitely be back. The girls are hustlers and the food comes fast and hot. You will not be disappointed but don't expect great aesthetics. You will go for the food, not the location. I am soooo glad I only live 10 min away!

Bf took me here, his hidden spot, so I guess I'm in good if he takes me to HIS spot. Lol. On to the review... the place is an unassuming little restaurant. It pretty small and if going on the weekend be prepared to wait for a seat. I ordered a pistachio agua Fresca to drink and it was delicious. I had the picadillo gordita plate and boy was it delicious. The filling is very well seasoned and the gordita was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I'm not sure if they have flour gorditas but I had the corn. The plate came with rice and beans and both were so good too. The rice taste like my tia in Mexicos rice. The salsa they serve is chile pasando with suero (green chile that's rehydrated with the whey of the cheese). It was different than the usual salsa you get at restaurants but oh so delicious and spicy. Boyfriend had the huevos rancheros with the chile colorado, I snuck a bite and it was so good. It tasted like the filling in my mom's tamales which the cumin is very much present. You know the place is good when you are still eating and planning your return visit. The service was pretty good too. A definite recommendation!

Outstanding food. I'm here visiting from CA. Well, not only did we go on Sunday, but today for breakfast too. This is a hidden gem and I will come to visit this place every time I come back to El Paso. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Now, don't say you were not warned, the green salsa served on almost all their breakfast eggs are SUPER SPICY. Ask for it on the side. Trust me on this! Order the frijoles refritos and try the canela water and mix your own instant coffee into it. It's going to taste like you dipped a pan dulce into your coffee. Buen provecho

Delicious Mexican food. Everything I have tried is delicious to include the cinnamon infused coffee. The suero salsa I the finishing touch on the already delicious food.

Have you ever had a quesadilla that was better than a steak dinner? Of course not, no one has. But let me tell you, it would be a mis-steak to eat Mexican food in Socorro TX and not stop at this little place! It would be like going to a Texas Steak house and ordering a salad. You see here's the problem in the Southwest, so many people cook and eat Mexican cuisine. And oftentimes FAMILY MEMBERS come home after a long day of work sit down for dinner and have a great mex meal. Satisfied, they EXPRESS SOMETHING LIKE: "THIS IS DELICIOUS! YOU COULD OPEN A RESTAURANT!!" SADLY MANY PEOPLE DO! But really its like the young girl that is a horrible singer (see my post Rosa's Cantina), who's mother tells her she has the voice of an angel. Next thing the kid is on American Idol making a fool of herself. This little place is the real deal. We had the Enchiladas Montadas (eggs on top) the Juevos Rancheros & Gorditas plate. Each one very very good. The Gorditas were my favorite, crunchy and moist corn pastry, but not greasy! None of the food was greasy, how is that possible?....it was a magical place....like Disneyland for mexican food....only no mice! Even my eggs were cooked clean, no grease or food residue on the whites A bite more: The salsa is spicy so prepare yourselves. The red salsa..is...I think...chile arbol, try it. You'll like it. Also, do yourself a flavor and order the PISTACHIO AGUA FRESCA. Great prices. I didn't try any dessert. Following GOOGLE MAPS to find it? You'll pass it up by a block. DEAR, Little tiny Quesadilla place, Your food may not be as good as a fancy steak house, but you never claimed it was. Please promise to keep making good, clean, fresh, mexican food. And I promise I will keep coming back. Also, your mama will be proud!
